Sean BalaIn 2008 during the Great Recession I was undergrad at Harvard. We were the only Ivy that did not cut admin pay. Instead we cut hot breakfast and fired custodial workers. In all the hubbub, students discovered that there were 68 Deans at Harvard College alone. None of them got a pay cut.
