## NO ICE. NO FASCISM. NO KINGS ### This permitted rally will feature: -Speakers from the Oklahoma ACLU, Oklahoma Policy Institute, The Oklahoma Poor People’s Campaign, immigration attorney Lorena Rivas, and others will present topics of current concern. In addition, OKC activist, humorous raconteur, and Irish pub owner Sean Cummings, will present views on the separation of church and state, with emphasis on the Christian Beatitudes. Issues such as transgender rights, community response to immigrant raids, the effect of the Big “Beautiful” Bill on vulnerable populations, local and national surveillance of citizens, gutting the federal workforce, state legislative issues, and the Oklahoma Epstein connection will be presented. High school students who participated in the three-school walkout on Feb. 13 will also share their experiences. In addition, moments of joyful resistance will take place in the form of music from the Lawton band Lennon, with an audience sing-along and call-and-response chants. There will also be information tables and voter registration applications. All are welcome, and safety marshals will ensure compliance with non-violence protocols. Organizers say, “Come with an open mind to learn and listen. Then decide what action you want to take to bring about justice.” No Kings is a nationwide movement supporting the Constitutional checks and balances meant to keep a president from acting like an authoritarian king. ### MORE!
