The wonderful woman who brought me into this world has not been to Yosemite in two decades despite only living 2 hours away. Today, I'm changing that!

We only have the day, and she's not super mobile, so I'm thinking Tunnel View on the way in, plus a trio of waterfalls: Bridalveil Fall, Lower Yosemite Fall, and Cascade Fall. Plus whatever catches her eye around the Valley.

She fell in love with Yosemite. It was so awesome being her personal tour guide in a place I absolutely adore. A terrific day we'll both remember forever.

(Also? Her 14-year old dog Zoey, who barely moves around the house and stopped wanting to go for walks, couldn't stop walking and exploring out there. Like she was 7 years younger. Nature doesn't just heal people...)

Wow it's so wonderful you got to experience this together with her, and with the pup. It looks like you had a wonderful day together. I've never been to Yosemite, but a good friend of mine has, and he loved it loads! So I can understand your love for it as well. 💚 Thank you for sharing!
