@EscGoat @miona Aladdin would have been made after GEMS was created to allow for MIDI instruments to be used more directly. Game Soundtrack Channel did a video on GEMS.

I wasn't aware of software at that time that could bridge the gap so nicely between MIDI and Genesis. Sounds like it made things a lot more accessible to many more composers
