The other day I was helping YL with her room and I noticed a floating shelf box that she’d bought. I placed it on the side and told her not to put that up. “Yes Mum”. I told her not to move the furniture on her own. “Yes Mum”. I go in there and the furniture is moved. Hmm.

I go in there a little later on and the floating shelves are on the floor, pulled out of the box, instructions open. So I confiscated all the bits and hid them, minus the box. Nothing has been said about them in 2 days.

Today she brought out the box and put it in the recycling. Nothing was said. I took the box and put all the bits in there and hid it again. I wonder how long it’s gonna be before she mentions it.
