I’ve been awake since 3 and I’ve finally given in and got up and made a coffee. My hotel room isn’t overlooked so I’ve had the curtains open all night and now I’ve discovered the windows open so I’ve got a fabulous cool breeze and a dawn chorus : ) so many birds flitting past my window, I have no idea what they are, I’ll have to get my binocs out. Bizarre how quiet it is compared to how absolutely chaotic it is day and night! Hopefully my sister and BiL get here about lunchtime and then a couple of days of exploring before we set off on the next leg.
