I've been playing through Nightdive's remaster of Killing Time and loving it. Extremely weird but with more plot than your average boomer shooter and a wild soundtrack.

I started off by playing the #3do version. The first level feels like a fever dream. FMV intro, then a maze of ducks and hunters, with constant quacking. The ducks don't attack but you can squish them. I'd recommend the remaster but also just watching the beginning of this video

The game also has the most out of control key system I've ever seen. They ran out of colors so you need to collect the Yellow-Green key or the purple AND the violet key (separate colors).

But it redeems itself by having to shoot through a corridor of bipedal ants and 1920s gangsters while listening to traditional New Orleans style jazz.
