It looks like this is mostly just limited to interactions with Copilot itself, but I'd turn it off anyway just to be safe...

Here's the actual text of the email they sent out. It doesn't make any exceptions for private repos or private use whatsoever. Just assume anything you do with Copilot and everything it has access to is being collected.
