I'm generally underwhelmed by #SpaghettiSquash when serving it with any pasta sauce recipe I've tried so far (typically tomato based).

Any suggestions for some approach you enjoy where it doesn't taste like a weak substitute for real pasta?

Okay I've made something with the spaghetti squash. Using some of the ideas from the suggestion shared here from @Artsandsocks .

Some differences, involving Havarti, parsley and seasonings but hopefully edible.

Results. Doesn't look terrible.

We'll see if it's somewhat edible. Can't say I've put a lot of inspiration and enthusiasm into it, though certainly some effort.

It was pretty tasty actually. My theory was a bold sauce should compensate for the lack of flavour in the squash, and the herb-heavy concoction did a pretty good job of that. Plus, you can't go wrong with cheese, and Havarti is a bit more interesting than mozzarella.
@ottaross you should try stone soup! I heard that stones can be really tasty if you add enough ingredients to the soup…
@colinburgess just a little garnish from everyone.
