Just got this from Microslop GitHub:

> We're updating how GitHub uses data to improve AI-powered coding tools. From April 24 onward, your interactions with GitHub Copilot—including inputs, outputs, code snippets, and associated context—may be used to train and enhance AI models unless you opt out.

I barely ever use GitHub. When I do, it's when I am forced to because some project I rely on only uses GitHub.

If your project is only using GitHub, please consider migrating.

@rysiek Flathub is only available with Github ;-(
@mondstern congratulations to Flathub for supporting Microslop's monopoly.

@rysiek Are there other stores for Linux (which without Github)?

Or do you not use Flathub and download it manually like https://codeberg.org/Arcticons/Arcticons-Linux/releases ?

@mondstern I do not use Flathub. I rely on Debian repositories, or download manually if I absolutely must.
@mondstern
is #postmarketOS possible without Github and Flathub?
@postmarketOS
@rysiek
@oausi @mondstern @rysiek We don't use GitHub (but our own instance of GitLab instead) and Flatpak is optional _and_ can be used with any remote, not just Flathub.
@oausi @mondstern @rysiek

flatpak is, in theory, independent of flathub.
however, flatpak itself and the tooling is
made by flathub.
you can still use it without the flathub remote, if you find/make another.
@oausi @mondstern @rysiek the flathub team isn't really friendly either...
