A eulogy for Vim

@Retrograde @jwz This is... cause for concern... GVim is the least bad option on Win11, I shitcanned Neovim already, and now you're telling me mainline Vim has slop factor? What is the extent? Basic refactorings I can understand but if someone is emitting code wholesale from an LLM and not targeting it, therein lies the rub. Would you feel badly if I told you Cloudflare are using Claude on some of their open source stuff but in a limited way?
@Retrograde No better time to switch back to nvi
@Retrograde there's already a similar effort https://codeberg.org/NerdNextDoor/evi
