There were police raids of anarchists across Berlin today, clearly as fishing and harassment in response to a couple controversial arsons six months ago. The local Police Union declared leftists “a cancer eating away at society.”

Local comrades have said the attacks were incredibly unpopular in the scene, both in terms of the targets/impact and in drama around the communique/crew claiming it. But raids of social centers where cops lug out piles of anarchist books and zines make clear the stakes of the police response.

@rechelon collective punishment... And who knows: year or two ago, a bunch of cars in Germany got building foam sprayed into their exhausts, with Green party propaganda left on site. Turned out to be Russian agitation.
