I strongly encourage anyone who spends their hours prompting image generators to spend those hours drawing, painting, doodling, or fucking scratching in the dirt instead.

You could spend those hours making your own art & finding your own unique creative expression, but right now you're leasing your own creativity.

You're an individual! You are capable of unique creative expression just because you are you.

Your "bad" doodle is better than whatever the Sistine Chapel of AI art is.

Give your creative energy to yourself. Don't expend it for borrowed "skill".

Not just outsourcing your creativity, but feeding the machine that exists to convince others to give up their creativity.

I was a teen when Guitar Hero came to popularity, and came to the same conclusion. My time was better spent practicing a real instrument than playing a cheap imitation on the game. I think this still holds true today in this instance.
