In times of stress & uncertainty, it's a smart move to circle the wagons & protect your family first. HOWEVER: I do believe that there are important parts of our culture that are built on people helping people, and doing so on a volunteer basis, and that those are being fast eroded. I wonder what the eventual impact of that all will be.
