#Dogs were man's best friend from at least 15,000 years ago and all come from the same population of wolves, which after domestication in one area, spread across the world with humans during the stone age.

A chance find of a seemingly unimportant jawbone from a 1920's excavation of Gough's cave in #Cheddar revealed this much earlier domestication - prior to farming and the domestication of other animals.
