No, Cadbury Hasn’t ‘Removed Easter’ From Easter Eggs.

No one's removing the word "Easter" from packaging, chocolate eggs have nothing to do with Christianity in any case, and some very sinister groups are trying to convince us all that Muslims are offended by much loved British traditions and trying to get them banned.

@beecycling @afewbugs There’s always an article somewhere about the National Trust removing references to Easter, when we literally have huge banners up advertising Easter Egg Trails.

@thebaywindowgirl @afewbugs Some years back my local council had a "Winter Festival." Lots of different wintery themed events running from November into February. Of course they were accused of erasing Christmas by calling it a Winter festival, even though there were several Christmas events, like markets, carol concerts, light turning-on ceremonies etc in the festival programme, and even though it started and ended well before and after Christmas. 🤦‍♀️
