This is an interesting article about a new solar panel technology; the summary is a bit misleading. It gives the impression that the cells can capture 130% of the energy from the sunlight that falls on them - not possible.

I presume that they capture 130% of the 30% that was the maximum for current solar panels; that would be about 39% of the total energy. Still an amazing achievement if the cells can be made for the same price as the current ones.

Yes, there's some journalistic hype in the writeup. Looking beyond it, though, this sounds promising.
