My brain does not send ideas one at a time.
They come in groups. Fast. And my hands are never fast enough to keep up.
I have ADHD. I am blind. And I have lost more ideas than I can count.
I tried every transcription app out there.
Record buttons VoiceOver could not find. Interfaces I had to fight through just to start recording. By the time I got there the thought was already gone.
And every single one sent my voice to a server. (1/3)

I record business plans. Product ideas. Unfinished thoughts at two in the morning. I did not want to hand that to a cloud somewhere.
Nobody built something accessible, private, unlimited, and on-device.
So @mikedoise and I did.
It is called Perspective Transcribe. Hit record. Start talking. Everything stays on your device. iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac. No server. No limits. You can even chat with your transcripts afterward.
Earlier this week it broke. (2/3)
My whole mood shifted and I could not figure out why until I realized I had not captured a single thought the way I normally do.
It is not an app. It is how I function.
Getting close. Hoping this weekend if everything lines up.

@tayarndt @mikedoise In all aairness, why not just get a digital or even an analogue recorder, or regular recording software? Just hit record and start talking. Nothing is sent anywhere but your device.
@dandylover1 Just Press Record is solid. I have used it.
The difference is what happens after. I need to ask my recordings what I talked about this week and get an answer back. That part does not exist anywhere else and it is the part that makes it work for my ADHD brain.
