The Halls of Arden Vul (OSRIC) Session 34:

We spent some time in the Hall of Set, hoping to buy the freedom of a priestess of Mitra sold into slavery.

We probably could’ve been more subtle with our inquiries, but it became pretty clear that they have big (sacrificial) plans for her, that she wouldn’t be available at a price we can afford, and that breaking her out of jail would be incredibly difficult and alienate the entire Setite faction.

So we chickened out. 🐔

@Ashigaru That was a bit surprising, given the past sessions. I guess there is still a lot of low hanging fruit elsewhere in the dungeon!

@wrench I think we’ll side against the Setites eventually, but folks don’t want to just yet.

@Ashigaru I'm sure you guys can sit on top of that wall and have every NPC love you if you try hard enough.  

Looking forward to doing some actual dungeon crawling next session, though!

@wrench It helps to know how a building is constructed before you go about demolishing it! We’re still learning the load-bearing parts.
