Today I learned about the hashtag #smolweb and this totally fits the vibe I want in my online presence.

@dsri If you want even more minimalism and underground, you may have a look to #geminiprotocol

Beware of the rabbit hole 😉

Project Gemini

@kissyagni That's very interesting...thanks for the link! I'll have to think how minimalism and underground-ness is important to me. My gut feeling is that I'm interested in low friction and expressive contribution of content that can be collected and styled, but still accessible to non-technical people with knowledge they want to share. Gemini Protocol seems like it's in the ballpark of that!

@dsri A critic I read about #geminiprotocol is that there are too many technical content. And it's true that many user are nerdy guys that grew up in the 80s and miss the good old Amstrad CPC lifestyle. But it's also a peacefull place. No adds, no crowed, no subscription, no drama. Only people sharing, waiting for nothing in return. If you want to give a try, just install https://github.com/skyjake/lagrange

My favorite capsule (<=> website in gemini world) is gemini://astrobotany.mozz.us/.

Just a small tamagochi like plant you have to water and take care daily.
