Dear croche-friend, behold!

As for the previous work, it's not much but it's honest work.

A few days ago I finished crocheting this tawashi (natural sponge) / pot holder, experimenting with patterns (in this case the BL)

I'm satisfied but I see I have a lot of work to do to improve myself. No rush though, it's all about the journey and not the destination per se.

@alex Looks great. Is that some kind of hairy string?
@etp yes it is! I'm using 100% acrilyc yarns while I'm learning because they're not that expensive - I consume a lot of thos while testing patterns and working on my hand movements - and even though they're not wool or not too refined they don't look so bad at the end of the day :)
@alex I agree. I get very inexpensive acrylics at a local market, and they are fine for granny squares and practice. I have not yet tried a pot scourer.
