On the one hand, it pains me to think of folks this way, but on the other, every time I think I've zeroed in on how bigoted the average republican is, they end up disappointing me more.

At this stage, I don't see a positive future where republican voters are still permitted to participate in the political process.

I want to believe that they can learn and get better, but I don't believe that's true unless it's accompanied by the abandoning of that party, too.
