Thinking about how my entire approach to dressing for work has been colored by a work function where we were told "casual attire," I show up in slacks and a flower shirt, everybody else comes in a tuxedo, and then I get written up for being underdressed.

Haven't trusted a single communicated change in dressage for tertiary work functions ever since, lol.
