The teachers are alright news:

All freshmen (grade 9) at 14’s high school are going to watch Schindler’s List next month as part of their unit on facism and WWII in their history class. I can imagine some parents are flipping their shit over this. I’ve prepped 14 about the content and that it’s pretty brutal in some places.

Side note: I was in my early 20s when that movie came out in theaters and I went with the guy I was dating at the time and he got mad I wouldn’t make out with him. During Schindler’s List. We broke up a few months later. I should’ve dumped his ass then but I was young and stupid.

@tayfonay that movie really changes lifes. Good for you and for your lucky students!! Besides: I use the main theme of that film to show how melody and certain tones can express feelings and emotions. It's impossible to relate that music to other thing than profound sadness!!
