To be clear, I don’t think all leftist politic is performance. I think like anyone else u.s. leftists are stubborn humans who don’t want to change their lifestyles as much as anyone else. They do more than most of y’all mfers, so leave the calls in to those of us who do the work.

Leftists, or leftists I accept as leftists (yeah, Im going there lol), usually dont refuse to change their lifestyles when faced with ethical reasons to do so, and I typically give anyone claiming to be a leftist - but refusing to be a leftist - a pretty hard side-eye when I read about that sort of thing.

Performative ethical stances are *the worst* and I spend a lot of time thinking about that, american neoliberalism, etc.

Yeah, I hold leftists to a fairly high standard. Most people, really.
