i have finally framed one of my beloved art prints, by Will McPhail
@lzg Can you please fix the alt text to describe the art in the image instead of just the text?
@lzg Oh no! The storm of emotions of finding out there was a color print and finding out is sold out 😱
@ekuber never knew there was a print! Would have bought a copy in a heartbeat πŸ’”.
@lzg we have the b&w version of this on our fridge.
@lzg this is true freedom, the freedom to follow a goose on it's way.
@Lazarou @lzg With or without pants.

@lzg I don't quite get the joke. Is the cartoonist criticizing women who choose to remain childless? I certainly hope not!
@soulexpress @lzg does she look like she has a care in the world? Is what she is wearing not raising more questions that answers? I know who's the most interesting subject, besides the goose apparently
@soulexpress @lzg Only if one believes that goose-led adventure in a state of selectively fashionable haberdashery juxtaposed with comfortable pantslessness are something to criticize. I suspect the artist is celebrating the aforementioned leisure activity.
@cwicseolfor @soulexpress @lzg
I think it portrays child bearing as the crazy adventure it is
@ana @soulexpress @lzg At first I was sure you meant childfreedom but on second thought, no, taking the kids on a walk and meeting a random pantsless flaneur led by a goose, which one of you bluescreens hopelessly upon encountering and the other is too exhausted to react to at all, does seem like a believable account of childbearing.
@soulexpress You would if you were a childless woman.

@soulexpress @lzg I've never been sure if it's:
A) "yay, childless women do whatever they want!" (Which is how most child-free people seem to take it).

Or

B) this is what parents think being childless is like, as if there are no other obligations or concerns in the world (which speaks to a common complaint of childless people, especially when it's not by choice).

@lzg geinig, geadopteerde moeder
@lzg Jelous of the art and attitude.
