#The100DayProject days 20-24
3 days were spent at a sewing retreat, so a lot of sewing took place. I completed a linen Moss Jacket that has been a long time in the works. I also completed a lined and zipped tote bag made from a used pair of jeans. Quite pleased with both. I'm currently sewing together the legs from several pairs of jeans in order to make a tote bag for a yoga mat. Some additional fabric will be added.
Yesterday's creativity was a baingan, aloo chana masala.

@EllenInEdmonton yay!!

I found my stash of spouse’s old jeans in the stuff from storage. Tote bags are absolutely a thing. My long ago version: https://www.spinnyspinny.com/projects/jeansbag.html

@feorlen
Yes, there are so many possible versions. My mother made unlined ones a lot like mine for my sister and me, and they are very much sturdy enough for library books or groceries, as well as being fun. I made another with no closure, but added a zipper placket to this one, with a lot of assistance from one of the other women at my retreat.
@EllenInEdmonton sewing retreats and long workshops are great, wish I could do more of them.
@EllenInEdmonton I love that tote bag!!
@Chrissy
Thanks! It's a fun one.
