The original is just a globe? I can't remember from back in the day. Both copies I have have clouds. Never seen H&I, but I'd bet they use the remaster.

This is a PAL copy on phone that was /acquired/ somewhere.
I wonder how much of the audience before the Moon landing was used to seeing the Earth from space.
Anyway, maybe they were in the advanced stages of global warming.
That is an interesting notion. Seeing Earth from space is almost boring these days. Bet it was mindblowing in TOS's time. I was too young to know what anyone thought.
From "Bread & Circuses." I think maybe the continents were not exactly duplicated in that one. Looks similar quality though.
