The original planet in #Miri is literally a rotating globe without even clouds, since it's supposed to be an exact Earth duplicate. lol

This is a PAL copy on phone that was /acquired/ somewhere.
I wonder how much of the audience before the Moon landing was used to seeing the Earth from space.
Anyway, maybe they were in the advanced stages of global warming.
That is an interesting notion. Seeing Earth from space is almost boring these days. Bet it was mindblowing in TOS's time. I was too young to know what anyone thought.
From "Bread & Circuses." I think maybe the continents were not exactly duplicated in that one. Looks similar quality though.
Just brought up my pc copy. It looks different(better) than the phone. My PAL copy has both original and remastered mixed together?
No idea. Like I said, they were /acquired/ from uncertain provenance. Not quite virginal copies with good liner notes :^D
The PAL copies sound funny though cause they roll faster. Episodes are a little shorter too.
