@bosak My friend who lived in the bay area in the late 60s/early 70s told me that he once went to a Love-In in a field in Marin County. He and his friends left their clothes in the car and began trekking across this field, naked, toward the huddled masses. Then my friend slipped and fell directly into a cow pattie. When he finally made it to the Love-In, no one would love him.
