Demo today at the ABC in Dickson #CBR 10.45am as staff walk off the job at 11am for 24 hrs. Pay and conditions issues.
Good crowd of #ABC local and federal journos and support staff (MEAA), plus a bunch of other unions and Vintage Reds here in solidarity. We just recruited Elizabeth Byrne (ABC court reporter) who is about to retire, yay !! They're all off to the pub for lunch, back on duty 11am tomorrow. Pls boycott all trackable ABC sites until then!! #AusUnions

@treleanor We asked a random ABC person if there were any MEAA folk about to retire (we need new blood) and they said all the old ppl were sacked in the last ABC cull a few years ago. Bastards!!

@RaymondPierreL3 Ah, good solution, and Wagga is great. Retired 2014, lived in or around Cbr since 1973. Been in the Reds since 2015, they're a great bunch.
