"The trips Canadians have canceled impact numerous regions of the US and rob many states of tourism dollars that have instead gone to other places, including Mexico and Europe. "

And here the silent part is spoken out loud. The American mindset laid out flat and bare: it is "robbery" to spend money somewhere other than the USA.

They seem to genuinely believe that they have a right to our money. Think about that when you buy something from an American company.

The vacations Canadians are no longer taking in the United States

Millions of Canadians have skipped trips to the US since President Donald Trump took office last year. Many say they donโ€™t feel welcome as tensions grow over political rhetoric and tariffs, and theyโ€™re going overseas or visiting Mexico instead.

Capitalists don't like competition / free markets. The just want to dominate.

@ZDL This is something I (an American) have been arguing with people my whole life.

There is no right to profit.

Lots of folks get that real confused. And we've exported a bunch of it, via things like "you don't own that thing you bought" anti-hacking laws and DRM and whatnot.

It's real bad.
