adafruit trying to softly backpedal their slopmaxxing and instead look like they don't know how to use git. fascinating.

pre-commit hooks for detecting secrets have existed since the invention of git 20 years ago. and guess what? you don't need to feed your shit into Copilot or pay a subscription!

@AmyZenunim It's the same thing when I see people say "I need LLMs to help me refactor faster!" Like, bitch, regex find/replace has always been there, learn how to use it, it's not hard....
