@ikluft "Roswell airport security staff is of unusually short stature. Lines usually move quickly, and there's very few instructions given out loud or through gestures. Most passengers seem to know which procedures to follow, as if instructed by other means. 5/5 would fly through again."

@brunoph Heh. Setting aside the obvious jokes Roswell invites, it has similarities to Groom Lake in that military aircraft experimentation which made the places interesting ended up stirring up conspiracists too. That makes them less interesting.

Many years ago an aviation enthusiast hiked up a mountain to where one could see the Groom Lake base from public land at the time. Up there he met a conspiracist.
"Look! That light's hovering!"
"That's a Boeing 737. It's far away flying toward us."
