OK, I got a new WIFI/bluetooth m.2 card and I need to take the time to install it.

My WIFI works in my computer, but the Bluetooth, which is on the same card, stopped working months ago. I've been using a Bluetooth dongle instead. The Bluetooth dongle doesn't have the range of the m.2 card though (when it was working), so I bought a new card to replace the old one.

The new card is an Intel ax210ngw. I hope it has good signal strength.

My favored laptop (Asus TUF 17 with AMD and physical buttons under the touchpad, running Linux) came with a horrible Broadcom WiFi/BT card. Dropped out often, slowed down for no reason, sometimes just disappeared needing a power cycle.)

Changed that out for the Intel AX210 - it has been all but perfect ever since. With luck, you'll have no issues with your setup now.

Holy crap, the antenna connectors are tiny. There is no slack on the cords, so I was working in the case to connect them.

Once I had the m.2 screwed down, I realized the leads were swapped on the new card versus the old card, so I had to disconnect them and swap them.

They may not even fully support the new card, since it also has 6 Ghz support.

Oh well. It's fine. Bluetooth appears to be available without the dongle. Testing range momentarily.

Linux here too. 🙂
