Got myself some wheels.

(Until I borrowed one a few weeks back, I hadn't really ridden a bicycle since I've been like 15. Now I've bought this one! It's kinda nice! Just gotta figure out how to use it to transport a telephoto lens across gravel tracks without breaking 1. the glass or 2. my back.)

@doersino super-nice bike - you have good taste, good advisors, or both.

Stuff strapped to or hanging off the bike will get shaken about. If I have something delicate I use a small cycling specific back pack. Aside from shoulder straps and waist It straps twice across chest, so it is pretty much part of me. I guess that's not what you want to hear - bearing in mind the back comment.

@MatthewNewell Yeah, part of the reason for getting a bike was sorting out a back issue, so I’d prefer not to keep anything on my back while riding. But maybe a better, well-padded backpack would be a good investment, too! Something worth experimenting with, anyway.
