FFS #Apple, now when tapping my account (top right) in the App Store I can’t simply just pull down to fetch any new app updates and tap update all. I have to select a new option called updates and then pull down. Thx for making this slower and more cumbersome. #idiots
@simonharper Yeah bit annoying, I agree.
@simonharper It'll take forever for me to unlearn that muscle memory
@simonharper @Sonofasailor I’ve never done that, I always tap and hold on the AppStore icon and go instantly to Updates from my homescreen.
@pauls @Sonofasailor damn!! Never thought of that. I always forget those long press pop ups 🫣
@simonharper @Sonofasailor Yup, that’s my muscle memory every single day for as long as I can remember, way quicker.
@pauls @Sonofasailor 🙏🏼 will try to train my old memory to do this instead 🙏🏼
@simonharper @pauls Same! Thanks for the tip, Paul.
@simonharper I hate this already.
@victor same.
@simonharper @victor you guys do know to just tap and hold the AppStore icon and slide instantly to Updates?
Done it this way forever, never realised until 26.4 so many took the slower route!

@pauls I usually use spotlight search and don’t have it on my Home Screen. I can long press from search results so will do this from now on. I never make use of the “3D Touch” context menu shortcuts, but I totally should.

@simonharper

@victor @simonharper I manually check for updates enough times every day that AppStore has always been on my homescreen.
Yea I miss 3D Touch a lot - probably why I still use this method!
