@vileboss @kalleboo I only managed a small smiley face. Was there a trick to doing the elaborate drawings or are folks much more talented than I am?
@kalleboo @jonschwenn cant vouch for anyone else, but for me was a test of patience lol. my mouse was not cooperating so i kept missing the pixel i was intending.
doing something like this in the past tho, i drew my picture on a graph paper first, then used that as a reference. I was doing this a couple weeks ago to make snowflakes when I was trying to make a screensaver for DOS. (also had to make the graph paper by hand, haha)
@vileboss @kalleboo @jonschwenn I first tried on a Powerbook G3 and the trackpad very soon gave me cramp in my hand. I then tried a Mac Mini with a mouse. That was just as frustrating so then I switched to an SE/30. The resolution of the screen was just perfect for Canvas. Still what I did draw was nothing compared to some of the works of art others did!

@fergycool @vileboss @kalleboo @jonschwenn I would convert something to a pixel image and zoom in Preview for fake FatBits on my macOS box from which I am VNCing to my AIR nodes.

If I was copying an icon from ResEdit edit window (SULO bin, sicn’s) they were already FatBitted.

Then a *lot* of counting, clicking (and, when I made a mistake, re-clicking). Hardest was Ireland – by the time I finished my “circumnavigation” the two ends didnt match up by a not small amount!
