This is an extremely touching 🥹video about AI possibly panning out, I also see things evolving into an imperfect, #Solarpunk reality #AI #Aislop https://youtu.be/0iT9HbaRwfM?is=xtTB_q4CHyZy61If
How Ai Slop will Spark the Next Human Renaissance

YouTube
@lacybarry Sure. BUT.
AI isn't good at drudgery. It's not actually good at much anything at all. Human experience isn't defined through suffering and it's unhealthy to frame it like suffering is the only experience that creates meaningful revelations. And the desire for authentic human creations never actually went away during our industrialization. Most humans were just priced out of it. That's the hurdle preventing us from reconnecting with the authentic human experience: it costs too much
@Mimesatwork self actualization and evolution come from facing adversity. To be rid completely of struggle is not really the point. A lot of it is unnecessary but ... Did you actually watch the video? Like to the end?
@lacybarry Yes. Which is why I commented. Like I understand his need to focus on the potential benefit this all could bring, but his view of it feels extremely naive and ignores of how economic realities squeeze societies.
Mainstream didn't turn away from bespoke manufacturing or crafting because machine made things looked more appealing. They were turned away due to economic realities pushing those things out of reach.
@Mimesatwork sure but keep in mind, this is a perspective. There are many viewpoints and perspectives that caused our reality with AI now. I don't think it's naive at all to see the light through the cracks, actually very #hopepunk
