Thomas ReedIs Yelp a scam?
I have a listing for my business on Yelp, and had two people leave me 5-star reviews. I discovered today that Yelp’s AI has hidden those reviews, as it felt they were “not helpful.” 🤬🤬🤬
Epic Null@thomasareed Can't speak to the buisness owner experience, but I have learned I cannot rely on Yelp for things like "where is this buisness" and "when should I plan to call or stop by"
@Epic_Null Well, as a consumer, it’s got me wondering whether I can rely on the Yelp reviews, which is just about the only thing on Yelp I ever use. If they’re using AI to filter reviews, that’s hugely problematic.
