Recently broke my arm and had to learn to do lots of things left handed, including wiping my arse. The extra care and attention I've had to take means I am doing a better job than usual. My arsehole has never been so clean. Going to carry on using my left arm from now on.
@fesshole I've heard of climbers brushing their teeth etc with their non-dominant hand, to build dexterity and make it easier to thread rock-climbing apparatus into rocks, or do fiddly stuff with carabinas, with either hand
@jackeric @fesshole I got RSI in my right wrist and taught myself to use the mouse left handed. Which confuses people who sit down at my computer to show me something when they find the mouse on the wrong side - "I didn't know you were left handed".
@TimWardCam @fesshole ha. I use trackballs - my flight sim setup includes a Kensington trackball for my left hand. very convenient to be clicking on switches with my left hand while flying the plane with my right. That is, until the LMB intermittently fails for no obvious reason

@jackeric @fesshole Ah, yes, well, I got used to flying a plane with the left hand.

To the extent that I found it really confusing the one time I was in something that was flown with the right hand. Everything went fine until the stall recovery, when muscle memory kicked in and I did the wrong things with the wrong hands.
