We already know how to build space stations though. We’ve never built habitats on another world.
We don’t even know if we can land on the moon successfully again.
Damn sure do not have any landers close to being able to test. We don’t even have a vehicle that can get people there and back yet and we’re already signing up for a much harder mission.
Isn’t it binding in the lungs the same way asbestos is too? I seem to remember something about that.
@bflipp @dy @arstechnica Exactly, which is why I used that specific metaphor.
It’s probably closer to volcanic ash, but I think more people have familiarity with asbestos warnings as opposed to ash.
@arstechnica Lunar Gateway never made sense, so I'll take it.
