Roofhare@catsynth I'm not sure it's about cheaper gas. I think, at the root, it is about a whiter America, with all that entails.
@Roofhare probably so for a lot of folks. I just remember the constant refrain during 2024 is "life was better, gas was cheaper, other things were cheaper, etc." But whether cruelty was the point, or a price worth paying, it's unforgivable.
