I dunno what could be worse than holding @drupalcon in the US yet again right now, multiple years into a Trump presidency.

Oh - wait - yes I do. Holding it in the US in FUCKING FLORIDA of all places 🤦‍♀️

This is beginning to feel intentionally exclusionary now…

@rachel It is a very conflicting thing. On the one side, the organizers of Florida camp and residents there are amazing people who are welcoming and have organized inclusive events where people have felt safe, but on the other hand the state is very much not welcoming at all. Very similar to the state I live in. :(

@mradcliffe yeah, and they do such a good job. Doesn’t change the horror of the situation.
