i guess its still tricky for me to know when and how to place my footing consistently. for the longest time I didn't realise I was supposed to try have my heels off the deck most of the time, so now it feels weird when i try front shuv or heel anything ðŸ˜
switching to a smaller deck has taught me this lesson though, but now my old 8"25 feels a lot more comfy but also... heavier!
oh and since starting HRT, my body doesnt take too kindly to unnecessary pain. so ive had to focus on more technique instead of just banging out the same trick over and over and fucking up my shins 🤣
honestly... this is a win. I'm a lot more patient to get something right, and having a helmet makes me feel secure in still going all out once warmed up
