Man, there's a scripted battle in the first optional scenario in PMD:EoS that you're supposed to lose. It's three basically boss -class monsters vs. the solo PC, and ordinarily you'd get smoked. But through very clever item use and persistence I managed to win, and nothing cool happened. The cutscene just proceeded as if I got my ass kicked anyway. Hate that for me
