The Monday blog is here even though I’m posting this on the Tuesday after! This is the penultimate Let’s Learn entry - next week I’ll publish a final bite-size blog and then my villains learning tour will come to an end. After that, the next series of experimental indulgences will be Non-Reader Book Recs!
If you haven’t already, go and get your Sub Stacked!

@jon_mcbrine_author I don’t suppose you have your blog anywhere else as well? I do try and avoid substack for the obvious well-documented reasons (and certainly will never subscribe to a blog there - at most might follow the rss).
@clare_hooley ya know, I’ve recently considered making my little blog available on other platforms - it’s something I used to do by posting on Substack, Medium, and Tumblr. At the time, I figured it wasn’t necessary but now I’m. It’s open. Which one do you think I ought to add?
@jon_mcbrine_author for me either of the other two are miles better than substack. Medium is probably the one that’s most similar. But of course, this being fedi, I’m bound to say neither is as good as a blog you control under your own domain (IndieWeb style); it’s just I guess that would cost a small amount of money.
@clare_hooley I’ll probably go back to posting on the Sub, Tumblr, and Medium again and also adding to my site. One of the reasons I stopped is bc, well, it was just a lot of reposting across different platforms and took time. But I also want to give options. So, I’ll give it another go with the others
@jon_mcbrine_author shout the URLs if you do (no algorithm means you won’t get shadow banned for promoting your own site directly!).
