Hey #Ottawa peeps that work totally remote, do you work from a co-working space or from your home office? Do you ever go to a cafe or the library to work? I'm in westboro and have tried working from a couple cafes or the carlingwood library before but interested in seeing what other people do.
Trying to figure out ways I can get outside more and incorporate it into my workday 😅
@hazematman I'm also entirely remote and work from my home office. I have done this for 10+ years.
My coworkers are all across the world, but not in Ottawa... I love my job. And there's lots of interaction with (virtual) people all day...
I don't have a coworking space (or a car.)
But yeah... a daily walk around the neighborhood is necessity to sanity. And I'd usually chat with the locals (neighbors, the crossing guards.) There is something about F2F interactions that feels... needed.
