Sticky Date buns review:

They smell like sticky date pudding, so that was a good start.

Took a bit to toast (in a toaster oven), and I served two of these with custard (since I had some left in the fridge).

In this form, they were OK. Not fantastic, wouldn't go out of my way to get them again, but ok.

We'll try with the more traditional butter tomorrow night.
