Those who think their feet are meant for the brake, clutch and accelerator pedals instead of walking are indignant.
Clutch? Some people today don't even know what one of those is, let alone how to walk or take public transport!
To be fair to Bristol though, It's public transport is far less than it could be, which doesn't help with its notoriously bad traffic.
Steve Loughran@wood5y we actually stayed in the nearby NCP Rupert Street car park last year -it was the start of the Civic Society tour of Brutalist Bristol. Actually using the car park seemed the appropriate homage to that era. You get a great view of adjacent concrete from the summit and a reminder why Bristol looks so much better when spray-painted.

I never really liked the style in my younger days, but now some of the best examples have been demolished - nationally and locally - I appreciated it far more.
